About Us

Vision
The Time and the Valleys Museum is a living and interactive resource that preserves the
past, educates the present and ensures the uniqueness of the Rondout and Neversink
watersheds for all generations.

Strategic & Capital Plan
In 2011, we opened a new Museum co-located at the Daniel Pierce Library in
Grahamsville. Currently we have three floors of exhibitions, a local history research
center and Museum shop. Our long range plan is to create a “Museum Without Walls”,
to be both indoor and outdoor, enthusiastically bringing history and the environment to
others, wherever they may be. Towards this end, we are recreating a farm village on
land behind the Museum-Library, and using the most advanced computer and internet
technology to create various tours for mobile devises and a sophisticated and extensive
website.
